China New Economy Fund Limited (“Company”) is an exempted limited liability company, incorporated in the Cayman Islands on 1 February 2010 for the purpose of acting as a closed-ended investment company. It is listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 6 January 2011 (stock code 00080.HK).

The principal investment objective of the Company is to achieve long-term capital appreciation through investing globally in both private and publicly listed enterprises that have demonstrated the ability to manufacture a product or deliver a service that is supported by the economies of China and/or Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan in particular, those related to new economy industries, including, but not limited to, the low carbon energy industry, software and internet-related industries, which, in varying degrees, place a premium on innovation, advanced technology, or worker skills.
